Dave ident WWW EBI
www:
- I think the use of props went well. My group bought in everything we needed so this allowed us to follow through with our idea. It helped our piece to make sense, fit with the 'theme' of Dave and look good.
- The use of the word Dave throughout out the piece was good, I personally thought although some people believed we should of used it less.
- My group worked well together, which meant we could get on and do what we needed. I think this is a key factor in achieving good results.
- I think the sound affects in our ident worked well, for example in the cinema shot we used the sound of an old projector which i think really inhanced our piece.
EBI:
- if we were to have used a real cinema to film our ident, it would have meant we could have stuck to our plan and filmed in properly the way we wanted rather then have to of added in 'bantours' shots in.
- Lighting was an issue in one of our shots. If we were able to get this right our ident would have looked much better.
- It would have been better iff we payed more attention to filming shots. Some of our shots were shakey which jsut made our ident look less 'professional'.
- The 'bantours' shots were filmed after the cinema scene, they should of been before the cinema scene as they were meant to show the arrival to the cinema.

producshizz.
Me and Craig worked in a group to make an opening animation to our push a little button clip, we called it Wilson &Hawker prducshizzle but the teachers didn't think it was to professional so we changed it to Wilson and Hawker producshizz. we used iphoto on the macs to take a picture of our hands with an effect whilst the teachers held black cardboard in the background, we then used this clip and in front of it had our names bouncing in. I forgot the name of the programme we used but when i remember i will edit it into this blog. It was good fun making it but also a bit boring i thought, you couldn't and sound clips to it which i thought made it a little more boring. So it wasn't my favourite thing to do but it wasn't the worst thing we have had to do.

push a little button.
what went well:
I was put into a group with Craig and George P to do this project, we started off writing down names of buttons in the room, then George filmed me and Craig pressing the buttons. I think the fact that we all got on and worked well togther as a group was good. I also think the fact that we all got on was key factor in helping us do the work as it made things alot easier and fun. We all had different strengths within the group and this made it easier to do the project.
Even better if:
if we had planned our time slightly more carefully, we didnt get enough shots of different buttons being pressed so we had to film some more which wasted some of our time, whereas if we were to have been more concentrated at the start we would have all the shots we needed done and out of the way. This meant that we hadn't completely finished it by the end of the lesson. So once it is finished (all we need to do is sort out the voice clip over lapping the music at the end) I will post it.

stationary animation
For our first to lessons today we were set the task of making a short animation video. i was working with George J, George P and Alice and we decided to make a "paper clip man fight". I think our video was successful although windows movie maker was a pain in my butt cheeks, it kept freezing and you had to go through and cut down the size of every clip then when i was trying to put in the music it froze and I gave up, whereas when Mr.Winters helped me upload the pictures onto a mac and use Imovie maker it was SO much easier and we had edited the animation within seconds and banged the music on to, so Imovie maker is the winner.
